Bullet Fish
Individual Project

Bullet Fish is a mini game for customers to 'Spend, Shop & Win' during in the shopping mall. Instead of putting the game on LED sign in the mall for, this game can be played on the phone when the QR code is given to them.
The design of the game as well as the prototype and animation was done as an individual project. As this game can played by people of all ages, I wanted to make the graphics bold and the interactivity simple for them to understand.
How To Play : As shown in the animation snippet, players would have to tap on the screen either left or right to control where the fish moves towards. In all the 3 bullets given in the game, there will be some speed ups to when the fish moves to make the game slightly more challenging.

Winners in the game will be able to redeem a prize from the redemption counter in the mall.

Design Process

Design Process : During the design process, I wanted to create a whimsical feel to the game and illustrate out deep sea. As you can see above, the sea is illustrated to be a whole image when all the screens are placed together.

Against the dark coloured sea background, I used bright coloured elements such as the fish and the corals to add some pop's of colours just like you will see the ocean. Based on the font choice chosen, I wanted to use the bangers font to create a cool clean amongst the graphics.
Animation & Interactivity Process : As shown in the prototype, the game interface design displays a clean and simple understanding for the players to navigate. As the players are the general public, the game play and interface needs to be simple for the player to understand as many of them might not play games much.

The animation is a display of how the game works after programming. Just by tapping the screen, the players can either move the fish according to where they wish to direct the bullet towards the bubbles. After hitting the bubbles the points will accumulate in the corner. By animating the point system to make the numbers pop so it can catch the eyes of the player and help them to keep track of their score.
